About SuperGrans®
SuperGrans are registered, and IRD
approved, Charitable Trusts. From humble beginnings, during
October 1994 based in Lower Hutt, the SuperGrans concept was
launched and has expanded now to nine Branches domiciled
throughout the North and South Islands of New Zealand.
Currently we are working with interested parties in a number
of locations to see if the area has a need and is able to
support a SuperGrans Branch. We are targeting the
establishment of Branches in the upper North Island and in
particular Auckland. We have also had dialogue with
Australian parties who have expressed an interest in the
concept and commenced a similar organisation.
SuperGrans Aotearoa Inc is the umbrella group of the
organisation to which Branches are affiliated. Aotearoa is
staffed by a permanent employee and has responsibility,
through its members, for the direction of the group.
